Humor Personality

Ever wonder what kind of humor personality you have? Well, today
is your lucky day! (Unless, of course, taking tests gives you anxiety attacks.)
But don't worry, this is a fun test. I promise.

Okay, let's get started. First, take a deep breath... wait, wait, wait... make that a medium breath - this is a piece of cake.

Instructions: READ THE THREE CARTOONS BELOW:

A.

B.

C.

Now for your evaluation.
Which cartoon made you laugh the MOST: A, B, or C?

A. If cartoon A made you laugh the most, you have a great sense of humor. You lean toward the silly side of things. You can almost laugh at anything.

B. If cartoon B made you laugh the most, you have more of an analytical sense of humor. You lean toward the funny side of reality. You laugh mainly at the real world.

C. If cartoon C made you laugh the most, you love physical comedy. You find non-serious misfortunes amusing. You can easily laugh at yourself.

  • If none of the cartoons made you laugh at all, I have more cartoons - contact me immediately.
  • If you laughed the same to all or two of the cartoons, you are simply a happy soul!

You passed!

Lighten up, just enjoy life, smile more, laugh more, and don't get so worked up about things.

Thanks, David

MAKES NO SENSE

It makes no sense...

1. When the car insurance commercial on TV says "I totaled my car, but everyone's okay."

What?! Are they Superman/Supergirl?
Or are they just claiming a small dent as "totaled" so they can get a new car?

And was it their fault?
They might be a bad driver.
What about the people in the other car? Did they survive?

Every time I see that commercial, I tune it out and start thinking, "They survived? It's a miracle!!"

It makes no sense...

2.  When car dealers in car commercials act like big buffoons. Do they actually think by acting like foolish airheads, people will want to buy their cars?

Maybe these car dealers act stupid in hopes that viewers will think they can trick the dealers into selling a car for less.

For me, I would never buy a car from them. I would be embarrassed to tell people I bought my car from a couple of idiots.

It makes no sense...

3. When, in a movie, a group of people are in a forest, in a cabin with a fire going in the fireplace and a beast of some kind is trying to get in and they have no cell service and are totally clueless on how to get help.

All they have to do is set fire to the forest and people will come.

It makes no sense...

4. When I hear how the White House spends millions of dollars for a party event or some other special event and then claim they can't figure out how to fix the deficit.

Humor is all about perspective.
You've probably always thought air was free.
Go buy a bag of chips.

CAMPING

It's Summertime.

Time to go camping.

We went to Silver Lake.

It's a fun place.

We put up a tent.

We made a fire (when allowed).

The bears sometimes come out at night.

We cooked.

We relaxed

It's beautiful here.

They have showers.

The bears sometimes come out at night.

The night is so dark and mysterious.

It is so quite except for occasional howling.

The smell of the forest is so sweet.

The bears sometimes come out at night.

The crackling of the fire is soothing.

Staring into the fire is hypnotic.

Sitting on a log and clearing your mind is good.

So peaceful.

We shower at night.

The bears sometimes come out at night.

You take away all the other luxuries in life,
and if you can make someone smile and laugh,
you have given the most special gift: happiness.

Cats

As I looked into her big beautiful eyes, tears began to fill mine. That's because her tiny sharp claws were digging painfully into my thighs.

My mom has lots of cats. And every time I go over to visit her, I end up suffering from bad acupuncture.

One day, I realized these cats really loved my mom and I wondered why. So, I decided I would find out.

For the next several months I began to pay close attention - and took notes.

I was on a mission - a mission to find out why these cats loved their owner so much.

At first, I thought I had found the answer.
It was the stinky cat food she feed them!
They loved her for the food!
Wrong! Some days they didn't even eat their food.

The following week I was sure I had discovered the secret!
It was their luxurious indoor litter box! - odor free, soft, roomy, and just so perfect!
Nope. Sometimes they just went outside for their business.

A couple of days later I was positive I had found the answer for their undying love.
It was quite simple... My mom granted them access to anywhere in the house (including the kitchen table).
Wrong again! Some of the cats never roamed. They'd just stay there curled up.

I was just about ready to give up when suddenly, I saw it!

See cartoon below.

Humor is everywhere, in that there's irony in just about anything a human does.

Why I created this Blog

It was Saturday, in the park, I think it was the fourth of July...
oh wait, that song by Chicago is still running through my head. It was just a regular Saturday in the park when a little stray dog came up to me and said, "Hi."... oh wait, dogs can't talk...that was also in my head. Eh... now I remember, the stray dog came up to me and looked me straight in the eyes. His big black eyes were so, so... filled with yucky gooey stuff. The dog was sad. (See illustration below)

I felt for this little unfortunate dog. I wondered what I could do to make this dog happy. I thought about it for a long time but came up with no answers. Then suddenly I realized the answer was staring me right in my armpit. Yes! Right under my arm was the answer! What I had under my arm was a heavy weight 10" x 8" drawing pad. I figured maybe I could make this little dude happy by drawing him something funny. So I started to think. And then, "Boom!" a humorous cartoon came to me!
Below is the cartoon I drew for the stray dog.

I showed it to the dog and immediately his tail started wagging! He was happy! I couldn't believe my eyes. I made a dog happy. I felt like a superhero. I had a super power. A power to change a sad animal to a happy animal! And then I thought I could use this power on humans too!  So I decided I to create a blog where I would draw cartoons... and hopefully make people happy!
And so that's why I made this blog. (Later I got the dog a good home.)

So join me for some interesting stories behind my cartoons. There will also be some fun contests with cool prizes! But most of all, come here and take a break.

Thanks for stopping by.

Humor is the most significant thing of the human species.
